Tea Ceremony

We are so excited to welcome Sam from Cloud Hidden Tea back to Eastwest to share this beautiful, meditative practice.

Tea is a source of connection, in fact, “The Great Connector” was one of its earliest names. But connection to what? Connection to silence, connection to ourselves, connection to those in our lives and connection to the world we inhabit. A Tea Ceremony is a unique opportunity to make space for this connection. Tea is one of the fundamental herbs in Chinese medicine and has a long and intertwined history with meditation, Zen and Taoism. Come discover why this plant is so central in the cultivation of mindfulness.

Saturday 7th August 6.30pm – 8pm, $25

Wear something comfortable to sit in, Bolsters will be provided.

Spaces are limited, register hereย or at reception.

Come share tea with us!

      Hi Chikayo,

Isn’t it a beautiful practice! Yes we will be aiming to have these at least once every 2 months, when Sam from Cloudhidden Tea visits NZ. You could also look at @teaabovetheclouds on instagram – they are based in Auckland and do regular weekly Tea Ceremonies ๐Ÿ™‚
